From Wisconsin to startups to venture.
How I got here.
Roots
My parents immigrated from China, and I grew up in
Onalaska, Wisconsin, where I learned hard work and
endurance.
I discovered coding at Harvard and fell in love with the
ability to execute on my ideas at scale.
Builder
I wrote code that reached millions at Facebook and
Coinbase during periods of hyperscale.
I founded two companies. defy led the seed for OfficeTogether,
which was acquired by Envoy.
Why I invest
I invest in technical founders because I know the mindset: take the half-baked idea, make the crazy bet, and build the thing that others think is impossible.
